Parit Buntar Tom Yam Mee

You can't find any tomyam mee like this in Penang. The tomyam mee in Penang easily cost you RM4 with 2 prawn, crabstick and a few leaf of 'poh ho' (mint), and that it. First time, I eat tomyam mee with abalone (kuantao type), crabstick, minced meat, fish-ball, prawns and mint. All of this at RM5 only.

Living standard in Penang is getting high until they reduce the ingredients to maintain the price. Sometime, the portion is small till you need to order second food. By the time, you full, you probably spend more for a meal.

Compare to food price in the world, the food price in Malaysia still consider low. Take for example, an economic rice in Solomon Islands cost me RM20, Chicken Chop at RM60. First things, I came back from Solomon Island is eat all the Penang hawker foods I can in one meal also hardly cost me RM20.

The tomyam mee above can be found at Parit Buntar town. Although the price is slightly higher there but it really worth for money with all the ingredients. This tomyam mee stall located at same kopitiam with Char Koay Teow and 888 Rojak
