Kuala Gula 'CIMB' Char Bee Hoon (Fried Mee Hoon)

Kuala Gula is a popular place for bird-watching. At first, I thought it is place produce sugar because in Malay, gula is sugar. In fact, this area is oil palm plantation managed by Sime Darby. I came here neither for bird-watching nor oil palm factory visit. I came here for food. Recommended by Ben to try the Crab Char Bee Hoon (Fried Mee Hoon) at 'Soon Soon Lai' restaurant.

It is fucking good. Sorry, I have to use the vulgar word to express it. My English diction is so limit. You can't find seafood that is so fresh except here. Immediately, you taste the 鲜甜美味of the seafood. Besides this cimb char bee hoon, there are other fresh seafood offer.

I know you won't come so far for this cimb Char Bee Hoon, you can visit to 'Hua Seng Keng' which is one of the tourist spot in Kerian district in the state of Perak Darul Ridzuan. This tourist spot can be find at Gula Estate inside oil palm field. Not easy access from main road, not even found in Goole Map

When you see this logo, don't mistaken it as school logo. It is the logo of the 'Hua Seng Keng' temple. You can also visit to Kuala Gula Bird Sanctuary and Kuala Kurau before dine in the 'Soon Soon Lai' restaurant. Although this place is so 'ulu' (rural), you'll surprise 2 tourist bus parking outside the restaurant. Am not kidding.

The shop open from 12pm to 11.30pm. I would suggest you dine in around 4.30pm and leave latest by 6pm because there is no light on the road at night. Too dangerous to drive when the day is dark.
